Karl Wright
We grew up playing cricket together over the last ten years. He was talented, competitive and somebody you could wholeheartedly depend on. He is also the only fast bowler who continued to sledge a batsman after the batsman has smashed him out of the park ! :) He will never be forgotten....

I'll always remember when Kim and I took him to watch, and I'll quote, 'a bunch of old timers running around stage', I've never seen someone be so memerised by U2s presence. It's a memory I'll never forget.

The first thing Ashley said to me was 'Your an Estate Agent aren't you?' I took an instant liking, put a good word in and next thing we were colleagues. I had the great pleasure of working with Ash in a very close-knit office for the best part of four years, we talked, laughed and even cried together, many times. We ate chips and gravy together most Saturday mornings at 11:30 (Often with my daughter Hannah) before he went off to cricket. I coaxed him into running with me many times and remember feeding him home-baked cakes afterwards... I also remember him totally loving the Great Manchester Run '07 (Not!). I totally loved the bones of this guy and always will, RIP Ash XXXXX
